Songs and Dances
I forgot how good Maroon is (Barenaked Ladies). I’ve felt like writing songs recently, but I haven’t really recently sat down and tried. Inevitably, this came to mind with the line:
Wiped out down the stairs, I’ll bet you there’s a song in there. Not sure I’m prepared to write it down.

By the way,
In IE (6):
View -> Explorer Bar -> Media
Bottom-left corner:
Media Options -> Settings -> Play Web Media in the Bar (uncheck)
Then clear the Media bar.
Extend middle finger.

MBA Woes
We were always told by alumni of the MBA program that “One day we would be assigned a project and would thank our lucky stars that we had our MBA capstone class to back us up.”
I have arrived at that point, and have instead said, “Oh, snap. My capstone class sucked big time.”
Time to read…

Girl Scout Cookies
At the rate it’s going, I anticipate that Girl Scout Cookies will be a fully-incorporated mafia activity in less than ten years.

I learned something off of a self-help article on Digg!!!

MacWorld Pwns
I’m barely even a prospective Apple computer customer, but I’m basically convulsing with excitement over the MacWorld key note (which should be starting soon).
Apple really knows how to launch new products.

I just figured out how to get video to stop playing within Internet Explorer.
The General Manager of Deer Park Chemical got a DS for Christmas.

Coming Clean
This hasn’t required therapy or anything, but it’s about time to confess that I like Taylor Swift’s music. I drink it with a straw, and then swish it back and forth between my teeth and let all that sugary-sweet goodness stick to my gums.
My home life often involves me getting heckled for this — by a Grey’s Anatomy watcher, nonetheless! I find this to be a precarious aesthetic position, but I haven’t found a leverage point for a retaliatory salvo as of yet.
Anyway, I’m “rocking” Jimmie Spheeris right now (probably “trancing” would be a better term), so I am redeemed on the quality scale.

Not Much To Say
Today has been a great day. I like that it’s already almost over, and I don’t feel like I’ve bogged down at all at work.
My technical coup on Friday has somewhat bubbled over to today, so there’s some fun work surrounding that, in addition to having a generally pleasing slate of to-do’s.

“Flix” is a term I tolerate when prefixed by “Net,” but otherwise it’s basically a no-no. I know I’ve been here before, but I felt like saying it again.

Someone online referred to Vertical Horizon a while back as being a one hit wonder. In Vonnegutian diction, I excreted a large chunk of masonry.

I just rearranged my Netflix cue to reflect the following top anticipated 10:
- 300
- Stranger Than Fiction
- Apocalypse Now
- Curious George
- The Godfather
- The Natural
- Crash
- Field of Dreams
- Black Hawk Down
- With a Friend Like Harry
Model that, predictions engine! Especially if I told you I have never particularly liked a baseball movie besides the two in that list!
Major League was okay…
Oh, and I’m pretty reluctant to like war movies.
