(No Title)

Well, it’s been a little while since I’ve written.  Things have been busy, but they look good now…after spending 14 hours straight on homework yesterday.  All is caught up.

It looks like Kerry is bulletproof in the primaries, so we’re looking at a good race for the real deal.  I think it will be a good idealogical race, as long as we get to see both sides of the argument clearly.  Kerry’s whole “special interests” thing is making me curious.  I understand he has less financial contributors than Bush, but that doesn’t make it follow in my judgment to act as though he is squeaky clean.  It kind of turns a “clean up Washington” campaign into a “hose off Washington” campaign.  I don’t think the RNC is doing a very good job answering the charges, though.  I’d like to see more dialogue on issues where the two parties are actually at perfect odds.

Valentine’s Day went really well, with the whole hand-made board game thing going smoothly and successfully.  Kristin’s gift was great – a box with daily messages for the next year.  I also know where to get a good steak now in Norman.

I’ve been dispelling concerns today, as some moron around here must have messed up on Valentine’s Day.  He wrote “I’m sorry Kristin” all over the south side of campus and into the residence hall area.  On other sidewalk chalking concerns, I’m doing rain dances up here so the ads for “Vagina Monologues” can get washed off.  A girl across the hall from Kristin’s room was an “actress” (?) in that, and she made all kinds of noise about it.  Some smartass wrote near one of the ads: “Penis Monologues, up my ass, 8:00 tonight.”  I like the style.

The teacher for my blowoff class is pregnant and sick today, which is what gives me the time to type this blog.  She cancelled class.  I’m hoping she gets in the habit of doing that a lot.

I’m starting to look into OpenGL and DirectX programming, in addition to the Flash stuff I’m trying to learn.  It’s about time I started getting competant in the fun and games side of programming.  I would really like to make a 3D vector graphics environment work, just as a test exercise.  There’s really no time to work on anything now, though.

I’m sure there’s other stuff going on, so I’ll post and then post again later.
